The America’s Cup will continue to develop at a steady rate with technological improvements. The cup will be more efficient and secure. Everything needs to be simpler and more straightforward.
I think that there are many imporvements that have been made over the years for sailing. Some of the most important, I think, are the improvements on the hulls and keels of the sailboats. The hulls and the keels have to be made more and more aerodynamic to allow teh boat to float through the water and go very fast. I think that the technology of the race with continue to improve so that the boats will go faster and faster with the advancements. I think that the race will become more about who has the most advanced technology and less about who wins the race in the future.
I think the americas cup looks really cool. I think in the future the boats will be alot better and faster and maybe even smaller or they could even be bigger. I love saling and my dads best friend does alot of races with his boat and every year we get to go with him. My dad also owns a boat its not a sail boat (its a motor boat but it is still really fun).
The Americas’ Cup this year looks like it will be the most technical ever. The Swiss Alinghi team has two new boats that look dangerous. I’d like to see the New Zealand Team do well. They just got a new counterweighted hydraulic keel. Every year, these boats are getting bigger, faster, and easier to sail. I think that the designs will continue to advance, and the Americas’ Cup willl keep getting more exiting.
I think that the easiest part was finding the information because our book had everything we needed. the hardest part was probably putting the info into my own words. If I were to change any thing it would be to make it more interesting to the audience. I did not think it very fun because I was not very interested in my topic.
Hi Andrew,
Sorry to hear that you weren’t all that interested in your topic. I hoped that by letting you all choose your topics you would choose something of interest. You are so right when you tell me that the hard part is putting the info into your own words. Sometimes it helps to use some of the strategies that Mrs. Sullivan teaches you with Better Answers. Great comment.
